New routes to touring internationally
Tourbus Europa is a European collaborative project exploring new methods for building international tours and collaborations in contemporary and experimental music — including data-driven and AI-based tools for tour planning.
The project is now looking for participants from Sweden, Denmark and Germany. The programme runs from October 2026 to April 2027 and includes four learning sessions. Exact dates will be announced later.
Two calls
Artists and ensembles — musicians, performer-composers, soloists or ensemble representatives in contemporary and experimental music. You have carried out international activity (concerts, collaborations, residencies) within the past three years, or are actively seeking new international partnerships.
Promoters and venues — venues, festivals, curated concert series or independent promoters presenting newly composed, experimental or contemporary music, with experience of international artists and flexibility in programming.
Good to know
- The application deadline for both calls is 14 September 2026
- Decisions are communicated during week 41
- Each selected participant or group receives a stipend of €800 for the time committed to the programme
- 15 participants are sought from each country
The project is led by Föreningen Svenska Tonsättare together with Art Music Denmark, jazzahead!, Tourbus AB and Lund University, supported by Creative Europe.
