A press kit is often the first thing a booker or a journalist sees of you. Over three sessions you build your own — and leave with a finished, professional EPK ready to send out.
The course is hands-on, combining lecture, workshop and individual guidance. You get step-by-step help building a press kit that reflects your artist profile and actually works, rather than one that merely looks good.
PART 1 — Introduction online, 14 October, 11:00–12:00. A digital meeting where you meet the course leader and the other participants. We go through the structure and checklists, prepare the material you need to bring to the workshop, and cover what an EPK is and why it matters.
PART 2 — Workshop in Gothenburg, 21 October, 09:00–13:00. An intensive day working hands-on with your press kit. You get inspiration, individual feedback and the chance to try different formats and expressions. The focus is the artist biography, the visual material, press releases and how you structure the content.
PART 3 — Follow-up online, 28 October, 11:00–12:00. We meet digitally again to see how it has gone. You ask questions, get further feedback and polish the details before sending your press kit out to the industry.
