Exponential Cultural Entrepreneurship – surf the waves of the future without losing yourself

You live and work in a time of rapid change and development. What was impossible last year is standard today — and it keeps accelerating. AI is transforming workflows and business models, immersive technologies open up entirely new worlds, and the pace keeps rising. Are you ready to surf the waves that are coming — or do you risk being swept away?

In this half-day workshop you’ll explore how to meet change with curiosity, direction and momentum. Together we look at how to think about entrepreneurship, technology, security and sustainability in a time when the rules are being rewritten. The format blends strategic perspective and trend-watching with concrete examples and tools you can use in your own practice.

Goal of the workshop

You’ll gain new perspectives on how exponential technological development affects the cultural and creative industries, and how to relate to it based on your own goals, values and circumstances.

What we’ll explore

  • Purpose and values – your inner compass in a world that changes at lightning speed.
  • Entrepreneurship – how to think about business models and structures for sustainable development.
  • Technology – future-gazing into the immersive: AI, XR, digital twins and generative tools.
  • Security – legal questions, copyright, AI ethics and data integrity.
  • Inner sustainability – how to stand steady when everything is shaking.

After the workshop you will be able to

  • Better understand which technologies are currently shaping the cultural and creative industries.
  • Reflect on how your purpose and values can be a resource in your business.
  • See more possibilities for developing a sustainable, future-oriented cultural entrepreneurship.
  • Navigate key questions around AI, copyright, integrity and ethics.
  • Formulate next steps for meeting the future in your own practice or business.

Who can apply?

You who work within performing arts, music, audiovisual media or visual arts and feel that technology is racing ahead. The workshop is especially relevant if you work on creative projects and want to think more strategically, or if you’re looking for a clearer link between your artistic identity and your business. You don’t need to be a tech expert to participate.

Workshop leader

Sofie Marin – senior cultural and business strategist, consultant and startup mentor.
